Nathan - Paul Bruce Dickinson

Paul Bruce Dickinson is the vocalist of the heavy metal band Iron Maiden, he is also a songwriter, airplane pilot, broadcaster, author, screenwriter, actor, and former marketing director.

He is English and he was born on August 7^th, 1958 in the small mining town of Worksop, Notthinghamshere. His mother, Sonia, worked in a shoe shop and his father, Bruce, was a mechanic in the army.

Bruce went to an audition for Iron Maiden in September 1981 and was immediately accepted into the group. He had already been in a band before, Samson, which he joined in 1979.

Dickinson quit Iron Maiden in 1993 in order to pursue his solo career which gave him experience with a wide of heavy metal and rock styles. He rejoined Iron in 1999 along with the guitarist Adrian Smith, with whom he released four subsequent studio albums.
